These are things that we might implement in future versions of
MakeCD, but be warned: no promise that or when this will happen!

- directory editor for ISO images
- Sony DAO
- CD text (if possible at all with current drives)
- Joliet support
- multiple drives, more flexibel handling of source and target
- fast test reading of sources without writing images or CD-R
- automatic removal of silence at beginning and end of tracks
- optimal arrangement of a collection of tracks onto discs
- tape streamers as storage for images
- changing volume of different audio tracks
- starting more actions directly from shell/Workbench and
  non-interactive usage
- block medium with support for other block sizes than 512
- delete images or format image partition from within MakeCD
- set archive bit for written tracks
- count number of copies made in write window
- make GUI more configurable (e.g. reduced write window with
  minimal information)
- adjust to systems performance automatically
- insert tray via menu, not only eject
- comment for each track
- choose default image file type in settings
- other GUIs


We have no plans to support the following:

- Panasonic DAO
