Hey Patrick,
Thanks for your response. I did verify that the pictures were restored after pushing the contacts from Outlook to the server. They only got corrupted after syncing with the iPhone. The iPhone address book was blank so in theory nothing should have been sent at all.

Regardless, I'll talk to the Funambol folks and post a reply back here based on my findings.

Thanks for your help.

> - I then check online and the contact pictures are corrupted and show up as broken
> images.

Sending the contacts from the server to the iPhone cannot have corrupted the photos on the server. They must have been corrupted already after transferring them from the Outlook client to the server. Please check that, then report it to Funambol - none of my software would be involved.

Even for the iPhone you better contact Funambol because they are working on the next version. Please report back if and how the problem got solved so that the solution shows up here together with the question. Thanks!

I've not seen this reported anywhere hence the comment. Funambol + SyncEvolution on the iPhone syncs all my contacts correctly but the contact images are not synced. In fact, the contact images on the Funambol server also get corrupted and show up broken after the sync.

Steps:
- I empty my.funambol.com contact list (since images get corrupted) and then I push my Outlook contact list to Funambol with the Outlook sync client.
- Next, I empty the iPhone (1.1.4) contact list by creating empty AddressBook.sqlite and AddressBookImages.sqlite files.
- Next, I run Funambol which syncs and recreates the entire list correctly except for the images.
- I then check online and the contact pictures are corrupted and show up as broken images.

Funniest thing is that I originally created my Outlook list by pushing my iPhone contact list to Funambol to Outlook and the images were pushed fine. I'm hoping there's something I'm doing wrong so any tips will be great. Awesome product by the way :)

Thanks.

I've just been testing 0.7 on OSX with my.funambol.com. It works a treat. Thanks for your hard work.
